Lo4 P5
These two audio files are off our first attempt at recording our radio programme. They were both recorded on a phone and in these, we try to understand how to act and talk between each other in a natural way.
This was good practice for when we recorded our programme on actual recording devices which were the H6 Handy recorder. This tool was very easy to use and allowed us to make varied versions of our product and easily send them to ourselves.
Lo4 Editing process:
These screenshots show how we used Adobe audition to edit together our project. We mixed each audio clip individually to create a very balanced and clean project. Plus, to get rid of any unwanted sounds in the audio clip, we used adobe auditions audio editor, this allowed us to highlight unwanted audio clips and lower the decibels of it. Which made certain sounds such as any background audio more quiet and made our speech more clear throughout.
We also used audio transition effects and automations to decrease or increase the volume at certain areas. We used this specifically when adding 1Mawbs song into the mix. This was used to make the transitions in audio more seamless and enjoyable for the audience. We believe that we have done a good job with transitioning audio and making it work with the project. Plus, we include the jingle in most of these transitioning areas, which allowed us to make it a seem less transition and not jarring for the audience. This relates to the codes and conventions of many radio programmes similar to ours, and we have used these conventions in our product to make it more relatable and familiar for our target audience.
